Included are seven nights’ accommodation in a 4* hotel in the Mediterranean resort of Petrovac, south of the Croatian city of Dubrovnik; daily breakfast, and four dinners; five days of sightseeing visiting several areas of Montenegro, with a visit across the border into Albania included.

The tour includes visits to seaside and inland towns, including the old capital city of Cetinje. There is a visit and wine-tasting where the wine cellar is 30m underground in what used to be a secret underground aircraft hangar. There is a boat trip on Lake Skadar, the largest lake in the Balkans, between Montenegro and Albania. A trip over the border into Albania is included, with a visit to the city of Shkoder where there is a monument to Mother Teresa, the famous Albanian.

The area has historic and geographic interest. Because of its location it has a very complex history, but one recent fact of note is that it was formerly a Yugoslav republic which gained its independence from the Federation of Serbia and Montenegro in 2006.
