Do you enjoy travelling abroad with like-minded people? Trips away with other u3a members can enhance your enjoyment as well as giving you a chance to make new friends. If you have not yet done so, why not sign up with the Travel Abroad group? It is an email group and you receive an email only when there is a trip to be publicised, so we won’t flood your Inbox.
The important features of our trips will be:
* the itinerary will be one currently available from a tour company;
* participants will book directly with the tour company;
* all money will be paid directly to the tour company, enabling you to use a credit card for payment, if you wish;
* the organiser will suggest ways of travelling together to the starting point such as airport or London rail station, but members will be free to make their own plans;
* the organiser will convene a social meeting once you have paid the balance due on the trip so that you can meet others travelling.
