Pétanque is a game that has been played throughout France since the early 1900s and is more commonly known in the U.K. as Boules. It is an easy game to pick up and no experience is needed. The group meets in Stockton on the Forest, where there is a large terrain and ample parking.
We have a wonderful group of players, enjoy ourselves immensely and look forward to welcoming new members. If you would like to join us and try the game, I’d be delighted to hear from you.
We have equipment to borrow but if you want to join the group you will need to buy a set of boules, we can give advice on where to get them.
