This new “group” is an opportunity for anyone who has a query about an iPad or Apple Mac to get some specific help or advice. The intention is to offer hands-on support with a face to face, one-to one, session of perhaps 10-15 minutes. There will not be any presentations, so please only come with a specific query and where possible your own iPad or Laptop. Examples might be: “I can’t get my iPad to email a photo to my friend”; “my Mac is behaving strangely – does it look like a fault?”; “I’d like to organise my emails better”.
If you wish to “drop-in” please email me beforehand if possible with an indication of what you’d like to ask about. You can also turn up “on spec” but priority will be given to those who have been in touch beforehand.
You will probably find it helpful to be a member of the iPad Users’ and/or the Apple Mac Users Group, since it is likely that much of the communication about this group will be via those groups’ email.
Finally, since this is only offered to u3a members, proof of membership may be requested.
