We welcome anyone interested in gardening, from beginners to experienced gardeners. In the Autumn and Spring terms we offer illustrated talks, demonstrations and question and answer sessions by experts from the NE of England. We also consider issues related to wildlife, the environment and other current concerns. Garden visits are organised in Summer with the more distant ones by coach. Trip costs vary accordingly.
The Gateway Centre has good disability access and reserved parking for blue badge holders. Free parking is available in Morrison's car park and there is good access by bus.
Our first meeting is 29th September 2026, doors opening at 9:30 and speaker start time of 10:15. Subsequent meetings for 2026 are fortnightly, being 13th October, 27th October, 10th November, 24th November and 8th December. Speaker programme will be available shortly. Dues for Autumn are £15.
