Do you enjoy travelling abroad with like-minded people? Trips away with other u3a members can enhance your enjoyment as well as giving you a chance to make new friends. If you have not yet done so, why not sign up with the Travel Abroad group? It is an email group and you receive an email only when there is a trip to be publicised, so we won’t flood your Inbox.

All the trips are chosen from the regular itineraries of some of our favourite travel companies. Because we want to book quite a few single rooms, trips are often advertised almost a year before they happen.

Current trips are:

• April 2025 – Montenegro, the land of the Black Mountain, doubles available
• September 2025 – Uzbekistan, Samarkand, Tashkent, Khiva and Bukhara

Future trips that we have discussed as possibilities are Sardinia and Spain’s Basque Country.
