u3a York will be holding our 2026 Open Day on Thursday 8th October, with the location and detailed program of sessions to be shared soon. Current planning suggests that the day will run from 10:00 to 13:00, and that there will be a selection of taster sessions from various groups available. There will be refreshments, but lunch will not be provided.
However the day is configured, you're most welcome to come along and find out more about what we do, and meet some like-minded individuals for a chat and some refreshments, with no commitment to join (although plenty of opportunity, of course!).
It's unlikely we will need to restrict numbers on general attendance at the Open Day, but session places will be limited. At this stage, please request a session from the Groups Coordinator, and mention the group you're interested in. Note that it might not be possible to set up a session for any given group.
