All York u3a members are welcome to apply for any trip

Our team organises trips to places of interest, usually by coach. These can be day trips, a five-day residential trip, or short breaks of 1 or 2 nights staying in a hotel. Apply for a trip online or by paper form, places are assigned randomly if oversubscribed.

UK Travel – Terms and Conditions

  1. Members: Those travelling must be current u3a members on the date of travel.
  2. Insurance: All members are responsible for arranging their own travel insurance to cover the cost of cancellation through sickness, personal injury accidents and loss of luggage or personal property.
  3. Access: In the information the organiser will repeat any points about restrictions of access which the site has offered.
  4. Allocation of places: If oversubscribed by the published allocation day, a random draw will be made. Members will be informed whether they have a place or are on the waiting list.
  5. Cancellations.  If cancelling members are released from payment only if a replacement can be found.
  6. Conduct. Members are required to show courtesy and respect to the organisers and all those contributing to the trip.
